Rebuilding the Community

In communities across South Carolina, individuals find it increasingly challenging to provide their families with quality, stable housing. The most recent Census data approximates that 3,500 Spartanburg County homeowners are impoverished and elderly (over 65). Christmas In Action is an organization that exists to provide hope through Action for the low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners in communities all across Spartanburg County.

Here at Jeff Clark Insurance Agency, we admire Christmas In Action’s diligent work for our neighbors and are eager to support its mission to provide safety and continued independence for disadvantaged homeowners in our community.

Since opening its doors, Christmas In Action has benefited over 20 Spartanburg Communities and helped 900 homeowners (and counting) reach stability.

Twice a year, local volunteers come together to assist in home rebuilding projects known as Spring and Fall Rebuild. The main focus of the home repair projects is to provide immediate improvement to the safety and security of the homeowner. This includes anything from internal or external hazards to transforming bathrooms into handicap-accessible facilities. As a result, families are given the opportunity for a brighter future.

Christmas In Action is dedicated to supporting eligible disadvantaged homeowners in need of home repairs. Donate your time and skills, as well as monetary and material contributions, to help us better our community.
